These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between ABC Lingua (the 'Company') and the client ('you' or 'the Client'). By engaging our interpretation, translation, or business consulting services, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.
ABC Lingua provides professional interpretation services (simultaneous, consecutive, whispered interpretation), translation services (document translation, localization, proofreading), and related business consulting. The scope of work, timeline, and deliverables for each project will be specified in the individual service agreement or project proposal.
Service fees are based on the nature of work, language pairs, complexity, and timeline. Quotations are provided upon request. Payment terms will be specified in the project agreement (typically 50% upfront, 50% upon completion). Late payments may incur additional charges. Currency and payment method will be agreed upon before service commencement.
The Company commits to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all client information, documents, and communications. All staff members sign confidentiality agreements. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit written consent, except as required by law. This obligation survives termination of the service agreement.
While we strive for accuracy, interpretation and translation services involve professional judgment and may contain human error. The Company's liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service delivery. Clients are responsible for verifying critical information.
Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are refundable. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Emergency or rush services may have different terms.
Original content produced by ABC Lingua (including translated materials, consulting reports, and recommendations) becomes the intellectual property of the Client upon payment in full. The Company retains rights to its methodology and processes. Clients may not reproduce or distribute our work without written permission.
For questions about these Terms and Conditions, or to report disputes, please contact ABC Lingua. We are committed to resolving issues amicably through negotiation. If disputes cannot be resolved, arbitration or mediation may be pursued according to the laws of the jurisdiction where services were provided.
